Introduction

Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya (KMM), established in 1998, is a renowned, self-financed, women’s higher education institution located in Kunda, Pratapgarh. The college is named in the honour of its beloved founder and guiding inspiration Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, a spiritual luminary who holds the title of Jagadguruttam, the supreme spiritual leader of the world. Out of his profound wisdom, compassion, and lifelong mission to humanitarian upliftment, Shri Maharaj Ji established Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education (JKPE), an institution providing 100% free education to women from kindergarten through postgraduation. Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya, the degree college arm of JKPE, is affiliated to Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, Prayagraj, formerly Allahabad State University and is recognised under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. The institution offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Arts, Science, and Education in accordance with the norms of the affiliating university, which is located in Naini, Prayagraj, approximately 70 kilometers from the college.

The Institution has a well-maintained campus, equipped with a well-stocked library, modern laboratories, and ICT-enabled classrooms to support effective teaching and learning. With qualified and experienced faculty, the institution ensures continuous academic support through student-centric services, skill-based learning initiatives, and extension and outreach programs.

The motto - “Sa Vidya Tanmatiryaya” is a verse from the Holy Hindu Scripture - ŚrīmadBhāgavataMahāpurāṇa. It is the 49th verse, of the 29th chapter, of the 4th part of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran. The whole verse reads as follows:

आस्तीर्यदर्भै: प्रागग्रै: कार्त्स्‍न्येनक्षितिमण्डलम्।

स्तब्धोबृहद्वधान्मानीकर्मनावैषियत्परम्

  • Faculty, too, are expected to uphold this standard. To avoid any conflict of interest, teachers are not permitted to offer or conduct private tuition outside of the campus. Professional ethics are a key to preserving trust, fairness, and the credibility of our academic mission.

  • At Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya, a clean, orderly, and respectful campus is a shared achievement as well as responsibility. All students are expected to actively contribute to maintaining the dignity of their environment by ensuring cleanliness in classrooms, common areas, washrooms, and open spaces. Daily practices, such as proper waste disposal, queuing in an orderly manner, and observing campus protocols foster a healthy and welcoming atmosphere for all.

  • Respect for institutional property is considered a fundamental responsibility. Students are expected to use campus facilities, equipment, and resources with care, accountability, and responsibility. Any act of misuse, vandalism, negligence, or unauthorized utilization of institutional assets will be treated as a serious violation of institutional discipline and may lead to appropriate disciplinary action, including financial compensation or restitution where necessary.Accountability also reflects in how we present ourselves and take responsibility for our environment. Students are expected to maintain a clean, modest, and well-groomed appearance; wearing the prescribed uniform is essential.
